The Lazy Project Manager Book Review
The Lazy Project Manager is definitely one of my favourite project management books. It is well written and really easy to read. Peter Taylor uses stories from his past successes and failures to reinforce the points he makes.
Peter does give you the option of jumping to the end of the book to get the bullet points but I encourage everyone to resist the temptation and read the book all the way through. As someone who uses the power interest graph to map project stakeholders I liked Peter’s scope creep grid to identify who is likely to creep the project.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to become a really good project manager. I am looking forward to reading his next book.
In addition Peter also has a couple of free Kindle books available which are worth reading:
The Lazy Project Manager and the Project from Hell
The Art of Laziness
